Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel, enjoy a short safari briefing before heading southwest to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. As you traverse its varied landscapes, keep your eyes peeled for buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and the park’s rich birdlife, including yellow-breasted lovebirds. Predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas also roam these lands, while wild dogs remain a rare but thrilling sight.
In the late afternoon, you’ll travel to Lake Burunge Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Tarangire, Lake Manyara National Park, & Karatu

Following breakfast, journey through the vibrant town of Mto Wa Mbu before entering Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the 600-meter-high Great Rift Valley Escarpment. The shallow alkaline lake is a sanctuary for thousands of flamingos and over 400 other bird species. The park’s wildlife is equally impressive with buffaloes, elephants, hippos, Masai giraffes, and troops of playful baboons fill the landscape. With luck, you may even spot the legendary tree-climbing lions.
After an extensive game drive, travel to Karatu for an overnight stay at Endoro Lodge.

Day 3 – Karatu, Ngorongoro Crater, & Karatu

Start your day with an early breakfast before descending the steep road into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most incredible natural wonders. This massive volcanic caldera is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo), alongside wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and a wealth of birdlife. After a morning of unforgettable wildlife encounters and a picnic lunch, return to Karatu for your final overnight stay at Endoro Lodge.

Day 4 – Karatu to Arusha

After a relaxed breakfast, travel back to Arusha, arriving around midday. We’ll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible Tanzanian adventure.
