Day 1 – Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park & Mto wa Mbu

Your adventure begins as you depart from your Arusha hotel and head to Lake Manyara National Park, a bird-lover’s paradise with over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans. The park is home to elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
After a rewarding game drive through acacia woodlands and floodplains, you’ll continue to the lively village of Mto wa Mbu, where you’ll set up camp for the night.

Day 2 – Mto wa Mbu & Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, journey through the lush highlands and pass the breath-taking Ngorongoro Conservation Area enroute to the Serengeti. Arrive by midday and witness the park’s vast diversity, from open savannah to rocky kopjes and seasonal wetlands. Depending on the time of year, you may encounter the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move in search of greener pastures. Overnight camping in the Seronera area.

Day 3 – Serengeti National Park

A full day in the Serengeti allows you to explore prime wildlife areas with your experienced guide, tracking predator activity and following migration herds. Expect encounters with lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless antelope species. Return to your Seronera campsite for another night under the star-filled African sky.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. From the crater rim, soak in awe-inspiring views before settling at a campsite on the crater’s edge, a magical spot to watch the sunset over this wildlife wonder.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend 600 meters into the crater at sunrise for one of the most spectacular game-viewing experiences in Africa. In a single morning, you might spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards, alongside wildebeests, zebras, warthogs, and over 500 bird species. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
