Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara

Embark on a 3-day Tanzania safari adventure through three of the country’s most iconic destinations, Tarangire National Park, the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Perfect for travellers with limited time, this itinerary offers incredible game drives, breath-taking landscapes, and a chance to spot the Big Five alongside countless other wildlife species.

Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins when we collect you from your Arusha hotel in the morning. We head south to Tarangire National Park, famed for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. From the open roof of your 4×4 safari vehicle, scan the grasslands, seasonal swamps, and the winding Tarangire River for zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, and reedbucks. With luck, you might spot a lion stalking prey or a leopard lounging in a tree.
After an exciting game drive, you’ll settle into your campsite for the evening, enjoying the sounds of the African night under a blanket of stars.

Day 2 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After breakfast, we travel via the Great Rift Valley to the Ngorongoro Highlands, where the air is crisp and cool. The Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth, spans nearly 20 km across and shelters a dazzling variety of wildlife. From lions and elephants to rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards, the crater is a microcosm of East African biodiversity.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing your afternoon game drive, spotting wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species. Later, we head to a campsite on the crater rim for an overnight stay with panoramic views.

Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Rise early for a magical sunrise over the Ngorongoro Crater before descending to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but diverse park is famous for its flamingo-covered alkaline lake, lush groundwater forests, and tree-climbing lions. Keep your camera ready for sightings of monkeys, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants, and more than 500 bird species.
In the afternoon, we return to Arusha, where your safari concludes with memories to last a lifetime.
