Day 1 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your safari with a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. Enjoy a game drive before settling at Oliver’s Camp near the Silale Swamps.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park Walking & Game Drive
Explore the park on foot with an experienced guide and armed ranger. Learn about animal tracks and behaviour, then enjoy an afternoon game drive before returning to camp.
Day 3 – Tarangire National Park to Karatu
Travel from Tarangire to the crater highlands via Mto wa Mbu, with photo stops along the way. Arrive at Gibb’s Farm, nestled in its own coffee plantation with stunning views of the Masai Plains.
Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a full day game drive. Spot the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopards while enjoying a picnic in this natural paradise before returning to Gibb’s Farm.
Day 5 – Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Travel to the southern Serengeti National Park, home to endless plains and abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and wildebeests. Overnight at one of Asilia’s tented camps: Dunia, Olakira, or Kimondo Camp.
Day 6 & 7 – Serengeti National Park
Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti with expert-guided game drives. Witness the great migration (seasonal), observe predators in action, and enjoy the vast, breath-taking landscapes. Overnight at your tented camp.
Day 8 – Serengeti National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha, concluding your unforgettable 8-day safari adventure.
