Day 1 – Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve
Pickup from your hotel or Dar International Airport. Travel with a packed lunch to Selous Game Reserve. Arrive late afternoon for a sunset game drive (time permitting). Overnight at Rufiji River Tented Camp.

Day 2 – Game Drives in Selous Game Reserve
Early morning sunrise game drive in Selous, Tanzania’s largest reserve (bigger than Switzerland!). The park is home to elephants, buffalo, lions, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, hippos, crocodiles, sable antelopes, and more. Continue with full-day game viewing and meals at camp. Overnight at Rufiji River Tented Camp.

Day 3 – Walking Safari & Boat Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking safari with an armed ranger for close encounters with wildlife. Return for a hot lunch, then head to the Rufiji River for an afternoon boat safari, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife. Overnight at Rufiji River Tented Camp.

Day 4 – Selous to Morogoro
After breakfast, depart Selous and travel toward Ruaha, stopping in Morogoro to break up the long journey. Arrive for late lunch and relax before dinner. Overnight at Morogoro Hotel.

Day 5 – Morogoro to Ruaha National Park
Depart after breakfast with a packed lunch for Ruaha National Park, arriving late afternoon. Relax and enjoy the lodge overlooking the Ruaha River. Overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.

Day 6 & 7 – Full Day Safari in Ruaha National Park
Spend two full days on game drives in Ruaha, famous for its large herds of elephants, rare roan and sable antelopes, lions, leopards, wild dogs, and countless bird species. Optional walking safari and visit to Isimila Stone Age Site for cultural history. Overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.

Day 8 – Ruaha to Mikumu National Park
After breakfast, drive with a packed lunch to Mikumi National Park, enjoying wildlife sightings enroute. Depending on arrival time, take a sunset game drive. Overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp.

Day 9 – Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
Early morning game drive in Mikumi. After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam with a picnic lunch, arriving in the late afternoon.
