Day 1 – Fly Dar es Salaam to Selous for an Afternoon Game Drive
Depart Dar es Salaam on a short flight to the Selous Game Reserve (flight not included). On arrival, transfer to Rufiji River Camp, located on the banks of the Rufiji River. After settling in, enjoy your first afternoon game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes and spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and predators.
From the camp, watch wildlife visit the riverbanks while hippos wallow and crocodiles bask in the sun. The accommodation available includes:

Day 2 – Morning & Afternoon Game Drives in Selous
Today is dedicated to exploring the Selous on morning and afternoon game drives. Your experienced guide will plan the routes based on wildlife movements to maximize sightings. Lakes, grasslands, and river systems attract a wide variety of animals, offering chances to see lions, wild dogs, elephants, and countless bird species.

Day 3 – Walking Safari & Boat Safari
This day offers two of the most unique safari activities in Tanzania. Begin with a thrilling walking safari, accompanied by an armed ranger, where you’ll discover animal tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife from a new perspective. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, gliding past hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. End the day with a breath taking African sunset over the water.

Day 4 – Fly from Selous to Dar es Salaam
