Day 1 – Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve (Boat Safari)
Pickup from the airport or hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. After lunch, enjoy your first adventure! An evening boat safari on the Rufiji River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and stunning birdlife. Stay over night in Selous Kinga Lodge.

Day 2 & 3 – Full Day Game Drives in Selous Game Reserve
Spend two full days exploring the largest game reserve in Africa. Each game drive covers different areas, offering a chance to see diverse landscapes and wildlife such as lions, elephants, wild dogs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and over 400 bird species. Picnic lunch inside the park, with dinners at camp. Overnight at same camp as previous night.

Day 4 – Selous to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route to Mikumi National Park via Kisaki Village. Depending on arrival time, take a sunset game drive or relax at Mikumi Cottages, your lodge inside the park.

Day 5 – Full Day Safari in Mikumi National Park
Start with a sunrise game drive in the early morning, followed by breakfast. Continue exploring Mikumi until lunchtime, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, hippos, and 300+ bird species. Overnight at Mikumi Cottages.

Day 6 – Walking Safari & Game Drive with Transfer to Udzungwa
Begin the day with a 3-hour guided walking safari in Mikumi, experiencing wildlife up close on foot. After lunch, enjoy another game drive before transferring to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Overnight at Twiga Hotel.

Day 7 – Trekking Udzungwa Mountains & Return to Dar es Salaam
After an early breakfast, begin trekking the Sanje Trail, leading to the famous four-tiered Sanje Waterfalls. Udzungwa is a biodiversity hotspot, home to 11 primate species (including Sanje mangabeys found nowhere else), rare birds, reptiles, butterflies, and lush forest landscapes. After your trek, transfer back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town, marking the end of your safari.
